“What would you buy from the SkyMall catalog? Why?”
I’m actually looking at a SkyMall catalog right now and my goodness, there are so many things that I would totally buy from SkyMall. Some are “practical,” some are blatantly ridiculous. I have to say, the stuff in the catalog is a lot tamer than the multitudes of amazing that you can find on SkyMall.com. But I did steal a SkyMall from my flight last Tuesday for the purpose of doing it old school, so that’s what I’m basing my selection off of.
First off, I kind of feel like I need to draw attention to this:
It’s called the Travel Tank Top. It strikes me a little bit odd that something that hides items in pockets that are on the side of your body (where it’s arguably undetected by the x-ray scanners) is probably maybe not okay particularly when the item’s description starts out with “Keep your valuables out of sight and out of harm’s way. Compression Security t-shirts…”
ANYWAY. I just thought that was an interesting item to sell. What I would pick if I could get one thing out of the entire magazine is the Sogno DreamWave by Inada’s World’s Best Massage Chair:
Why? BECAUSE LOOK AT IT! It’s like the experience of getting a pedicure without anyone actually touching your feet. Who needs ZzzQuil when you can have a glass of wine and get massaged from head to toe? I know, I know. Lame choice, but I still would rock that shit every night. I almost went with the Floating Desk with Storage, because I would also totally rock it (think of how easy it would be to vacuum under that!!!), but at the end of the day, this one edges that out.
And here’s a little bonus one for you, because let’s face it, I would also use this pretty much daily as well:
Think of how great the selfies could be (that’s what she said) with the iStabilizer Monopod. Aaah, I want that. I wouldn’t even have shame when people looked at me funny in restaurants while using it…
