Oh I’m taking your advice and looking on the bright side

Bitches!  It’s almost February 1!  Eeeeeekkkk.  2011 is going way too fast and I’m not ready yet!  I have so many things to accomplish before April 29 so yeah, 2011 YOU SHALL NOT PASS [until I am ready for you to]!

I have a few major things to accomplish before I get married and I’ve actually written out one of them for a blog post in my head for the last five weeks, haha.  That’s the whole “get in shape” thing.  Up until last Monday night, I was always super content with just trying to get back to what I was at for the Lost Finale Party (moment of silence…sigh…) which is basically my breaking point for losing weight because I refuse to give up eating meat and drinking and eating meals in general because they’re such wonderful parts of life.  But last Monday, I took advantage of one of those free “fitness assessments” that my Gold’s Gym offers and they told me that I have 25% body fat.  That’s in the average range but I guess the “awesome” range is around 19%.  Oh yeah and that 19% is also about 9lbs.  Yeah…I don’t know.  It’s just not going to happen.  That’s been one of those blog posts I’ve been trying to finish writing but haven’t quite felt comfortable gathering my thoughts on yet.  But I’m going to listen to the “other side” (aka my fiance) and look on the bright side that it may happen.

It’s been a wild few weeks.  My office is moving for the second time in a year-and-a-half but we’re moving next door this time.  I’ve tried to alleviate my anxiety by keeping out of the whole process as much as possible but it’s going to happen this upcoming weekend and now I have to acknowledge that my work environment is about to change in a way I am unhappy with but must adjust to.  I don’t like change at all but it’s a-coming so I guess I better get used to it.

Anyway, that’s some of what’s been going on.  I want to go to bed before midnight and I’ve got 8 minutes to do that so here I go.  More in the morning.
