To Armpocket or Not to Armpocket?

As you may know, I am a big fitness person.  I like to walk and hike and I tend to bookend workouts with walks or runs in the summertime.  Since I often work out straight from work, I have to leave most of my personal effects in my car (clothing, my emptied purse, etc.).  Naturally, this makes me nervous to do, so I carry anything of value with me (wallet, keys, etc.).  I have a little backpack to put them in, but lately, my back has really been bothering me as a result of the weight being uneven.  I also am tired of running with this backpack, having to hold it tight to my body with my hands so that it doesn’t bounce around.  Last week,  I came across a product featured in Fitness magazine called ArmPocket.  Essentially, it’s a case that goes around your arm and is big enough to hold your iPod, phone, keys, and credit card/money.

I have been debating whether or not to buy an ArmPocket for the past week.  Does anyone out there have one?  If so, can you advise me whether or not to get one?  I did my best to do my research.  I went to Best Buy this past weekend and saw that they had 2 out of the 3 sizes offered (the Sport 20 & Aero 10).  I was disappointed to find that the Sport 20 was way too small for my iPhone in its current LifeProof case, but surprised to find that with a little bit of struggle, I could fit it into the “smaller” case, the Aero 10.  I don’t want to struggle every time I use the case, though, so I’ll probably have no choice but to go with the more expensive, slightly biggest case, the Xtreme 30.  I was just wondering if anyone out there knew anything about the ArmPocket line other than reviews from Amazon and could give me a head’s up.  I want to order one because I really like the idea of not having to use a backpack every day, but if it’s going to be a waste of $35, then I’d rather save my money and deal with the back discomfort.  Anyone?
