Last week, I created a baby pool for people to make guesses on when and what time they think Baby G will arrive, what his weight will be, what color his hair will be, etc. I cannot believe we are already close enough to his grand entrance that we can do a baby pool. It seems like just yesterday, it was the beginning of October and I thought 40 weeks would go by sooooo slowly, yet here we are at 36 weeks. Craziness.
I am going to keep the pool open until May 31, so if you want to make any guesses, please feel free to do so until then. I want as many people to guess as possible! It looks like as of right now, June 15 is the most popular guess. That is actually my guess also, but when I put my prediction in as a test, I put June 9 in because it is my grandmother’s birthday. I think it would be lovely for them to share a birthday, so that is what I am sticking with for now. June is a big month of dates for my family. In addition to Grandma’s birthday, June 4 would be my grandparents’ 59th wedding anniversary, June 18 is my aunt’s birthday, and, not to get too depressing, but June 12 will be the one year anniversary of my grandfather’s death. Lots of things going on in June, but I have a feeling Baby G will pick a day of his very own and avoid all of those days. We shall see, we shall see.
