Hello, everyone! At the request of a few friends, I’m giving a little bit more details in writing about the possible MetroBuzz reunion show for Jay and Jack’s Annual 30 Hour Podcast for Autism Speaks. The goal is to raise $2,000 towards Autism Speaks. If John & I can raise $2,000, then we will do a long overdue reunion MetroBuzz show, similar to what the Dharmalars did in 2010. We will be appearing together during the actual 30 hour podcast to help get donations. Right now (it could change), we are supposed to appear from 9-11am EST on Sunday, April 1, 2012. The goal is to raise $2,000 between now and 11am on 4/1/12.
Donations can be made in several ways:
- Through PayPal. The email address to donate is LPDonate@gmail.com. If you are going to donate, please select that you are sending the money as a “GIFT” when filling it out on PayPal’s site. I am not going to put a donate button on here, because I know that PayPal tends to have really weird rules when it comes to accepting money for charity/not-for-profit. If you can, please note that it is for MetroBuzz. This is what it’ll look like:
- Through the link that takes you directly to Jay and Jack’s page on the Autism Speaks website. This was the link for it last year: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=460844&supId=201750786. It’s probably different this year, so if that’s your preferred method, please check back here again closer to show time; I’ll 100% post an updated link. Again, please note that it is for MetroBuzz, so we know and can add it to the total. The same goes for #3, which is…
- …by check, which you can mail to:

Thank you everyone for even caring enough to read through all this. I know it’s a rough time for a lot of people, so even $1 would mean a lot. Everything raised between the hours of 9-11am EST on April 1, we are going to boldly assume is for our reunion show and will count as a part of the grand total. This is for a great cause and we are so excited to have the chance to finally get to be on Jay & Jack’s Autism Speaks Podcast, 5 years after TalkShoe pulled a big #FAIL on us and we didn’t get to do it, haha. No, in all seriousness, this is going to be a lot of fun and I’m so grateful to have been asked to be a part of it.
