So last Wednesday was my dear husband’s 28th birthday. Now, we’re only a year apart again. Yay. We both had to work, so we went out to dinner last night at a restaurant called Sullivan’s, which is also where we went for our 1st anniversary dinner. Sullivan’s has amazing food, but it’s a bit on the pricier side, so your best bet it to check out if they have any price fixed menus in advance or else save it for a special occasion. They have this amazing appetizer called Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and I could eat them for days. And the steak! It just melts in your mouth. Yeah, I’m a big fan. Oh! And the extra butters you can get to add on at a ridiculously expensive price…my stomach is growling thinking about them. It’s a good thing that we keep it as a “special occasion” restaurant, because I don’t think my stomach or waistline could handle it if we didn’t, hahaha. All in all, it was a really fun night. The waiter brought out desserts for Jay at the end of the night with candles. We took a crazy amount of pictures. Ya know, the usual.
Happy One Year Closer to 30, Jay! 🙂
Cheesesteak Egg Rolls for an appetizer; Shrimp & Filet as an entree.
Jay is ready for his birthday meal.
Say cheeeeese for the mandatory birthday cake picture…but the candle is out..
Oh you know, relighting his own birthday candles…no big deal, hahahaha.
That’s more like it.
That chocolate cake is still sitting in the fridge because I’m not a huge chocolate cake fan and Jay ate the cheesecake slice that night.
